This morning, while sipping on a cup of green tea, I was contemplating the ideas of gravity and weight, and their relation to one another. Nothing in existence, no physical objects, have any weight at all. So-called ‘weight’ is just a bi-product of the effect of gravity on an object.
In the past, I used to believe that the weight of a person’s body (for example a thin person vs a fat person) would largely impact the ability (or inability) of that person to be able to levitate. But it’s not so much a question of the weight of the body, but more a case of that person’s ability to nullify, by whatever means, the affect of gravity on their physical body.
Without gravity, nothing at all in existence has any weight. Yes, objects have mass, but not weight. You can measure and determine an objects mass, because that is a property of the object. But weight is not a property of an object, because every time you alter the strength of the gravitational pull on that object, its weight will change in accordance with the force of the gravity being exerted upon it. There are of course many compelling theories on what gravity is and what causes it, but it seems even scientists are in agreement that nobody can say for sure what gravity is, and where the force of gravity originates. A huge planet can float in space just as easily and effortlessly as a tiny bubble of soap can float in the air. Why is this? Because no physical object in existence inherently has any weight. Weight only becomes apparent (and measurable) when a force of gravity exerts itself on the object.
I suppose the point I am making here is that if we want to be able to levitate or even fly, we need not concern ourself about the weight of our body, because in truth it has no weight. What we should concern ourself with instead is how to nullify or negate the gravitational pull on our body, so that we can just rise up into the air at will, simply using the power of mind or consciousness.
I should add that I believe everything in existence (all physical matter) exists in the mind anyway, so to levitate off the ground and up into the air is simply a case of arriving at the correct state of consciousness that allows levitation to easily occur. We would do good to remember too that our daily beliefs about what is and what is not possible, will ultimately determine whether or not we will ever be able to levitate and fly.
Beliefs are everything. Everything is mind. Everything is consciousness.
